Residents in Good Standing, Former Residents, and Grandchildren of Current Residents in good standing may compete in Friday & Saturday events.


July 28 - Aug 1 Spirit Week


Hang up those flags & T-shirts! Spirit week is back for 2025. The Flag, T-Shirt or Home Display of our theme (Through the Decades!) must be displayed so it is easily seen from the street in the front of your house, It could be on the roof or attached to the front of your home, or prominently displayed in a front window!


Let’s all enjoy the WESTACRES SPIRIT of this amazing community we choose to live in.

Friday Evening


  • Corn Husking – Current residents in good standing and former residents may participate for points.
  • Kickball – Current residents in good standing, former residents, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren of current residents, and former residents may participate.  


   Corn Roast -- 5:30 p.m.

   Corn Husking -- 5:35 p.m. - 5:45 p.m.


Kickball

   7:00 - Mixed 8-Under (45 min.)

   7:45 - Mixed 9-15 (45 min.)

Events will occur in the following order:


   Parade -- 9:45 a.m. (Check in at 9:15 a.m., please pre-register)

   Field Day -- 12:00 Noon (Races start promptly at 45 minutes after conclusion of Parade Awards.)

   Toddler Games -- 4 and under

   DASH -- Girls-Boys : 5-6, 7-8, 9-10, 11-12, 13-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+

   SACK RACE -- Girls-Boys : 5-8, 9-12, 13-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+

   High Five Relay (South vs North) -- 8-14 Mixed

   Adult Relay

   Girls-Boys BALL TOSS: 5-8, 9-11, 12-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+

   Tug-O-War (South vs North) teams 9-15 mixed, Women 16+, Men 16+

   Water Balloon Toss -- Mixed: 5-8, 9-10, 11-15, 16-29, 30+

   Softball Games: All Games 1 Hour or 6 innings—whichever comes first 3:15 p.m. approx.

  • Women: 16+
  • Men: 26+ Pending the # of participants (4:15 p.m.)
  • Men: 16-25 Pending the # of participants (5:15 p.m.

Saturday Evening

Aquacade Dance


   7:30 p.m.  Food will be served 1 hour after the last softball game ends.


  • The event is $10 for Current Residents in advance; $15 at the door. It is $15 for guests in advance; $20 at the door.
  • Former residents and friends may attend.

Water Events Begin at 12:00 Noon:  WCA Current Residents in good standing ONLY may compete. (Children may choose to participate in Non-Red Cap Swimming or Swimming Events, not both) 


Non Red Cap Swimming Events

  • Water Slide — 5 and under, Girls-Boys
  • Girls-Boys Underwater Swim -- 6-7, 8-9 Girls-Boys Underwater Breath 6-7, 8-9


Swimming Events
(Children under 8 who have passed their Red Cap may compete with the 9 and underage group, but must be 9 or older to swim the relay)


  • Free Style Girls-Boys: 9 & Under, 10–11, 12-13, 14–15, 16–19, 20–29, 30–39, 40–49, 50-59, 60+
  • Breast Stroke Girls-Boys: 9 & Under, 10–11, 12-13, 14–15, 16–19, 20–29, 30–39, 40–49, 50-59, 60+
  • Back Stroke Girls-Boys: 9 & Under, 10–11, 12-13, 14–15, 16–19, 20–29, 30–39, 40–49, 50-59, 60+
  • Underwater Swim Girls-Boys: 9 & Under, 10–11, 12-13, 14–15, 16–19, 20–29, 30–39, 40–49, 50-59, 60+
  • Diving Girls-Boys: 9 & Under, 10–11, 12-13, 14–15, 16–19, 20–29, *30–39, *40–49, *50-59, *60+ [*30+ do one dive]
  • Relay Race: must have passed Red Cap ; 16+ Mixed

Sand Castle Contest -- Kids 18 and under may participate.

Announcement of the 2025 Winner of Aquacade - Red or Green

Individual Events — 1st—3pts, 2nd—2pts, 3rd—1pt.

Team Events Winner — 10pts.
