A Word About The ‘Stroll’.....
We are traveling as a group so that the home owners can travel with us and enjoy the gardens as we do.
The scheduled journey is about 2 miles over the 2.5 hours and takes in 11 gardens.

7:00 Oakland Housing and Chris Yaw (great grandson of founder Senator James Couzens) to speak. Open to public.
Join us Thursday evening August 6th from 4-8PM and view our history through storyboards. At 7PM we will be hearing from Oakland Housing and the great grandson Chris Yaw of our founder Senator James Couzens. He will share the history of his great grandfather and how it led him to
support the Westacres Project. This event is open to the public
Residents in Good Standing, Former Residents, and Grandchildren of Current Residents in good standing may compete in Friday & Saturday events.
Hang up those flags & T-shirts! Spirit week is back for 2026. The Flag, T-Shirt or Home Display of our theme (Celebrating Our Roots!) must be displayed so it is easily seen from the street in the front of your house, It could be on the roof or attached to the front of your home, or prominently displayed in a front window!

Softball Games: All Games 1 Hour or 6 innings—whichever comes first 3:15 p.m. approx.
7:30 p.m. Food will be served 1 hour after the last softball game ends.
Water Events Begin at 12:00 Noon: WCA Current Residents in good standing ONLY may compete. (Children may choose to participate in Non-Red Cap Swimming or Swimming Events, not both)
