We are so excited about the event that we have to offer you this year. It really is going to be absolutely fabulous! Our indoor booth spaces will be filled with the most fantastic selection of homemade crafts. We have have so much to offer you that we couldn’t fit them all inside, so there will booths outside too! If you still haven’t sent us your vendor application, there is still time to apply for an outdoor space at a cost of only $32.50, but you need to send in your application right away. We are really looking forward to this years show, and we look forward to seeing you there!

October 21st, 2009Mark your diaries! The Greet In will be on Tuesday 3rd November at Jackie Brewer’s home. We invite all Westacres ladies to come and join us for drinks and snacks as we welcome new female residents to the neighborhood.
Book Club – 8th Oct
October 5th, 2009The Book club will be talking about ‘World Made By Hand’ at Geneva Karlichek’s house on Thursday 8th Oct. Please give her a call if you plan to attend.
Community Docks 24th Oct/Private docks 1st Nov
October 5th, 2009If your boat is moored on the community docks, please ensure that you have removed it before 24th October, as the community docks will be removed on that date.
All private docks and boats must be out by 1st November as per W. Bloomfield twp ordinance.
Octoberfest – Sunday 25th Oct
October 5th, 2009Octoberfest will be held at the clubhouse/ballfield from 2-5pm. All Westacres residents are welcome at this event. There will be the usual pony rides and pumpkin painting, and maybe there will be a few pumpkins left (but we encourage you to get them this weekend or next Mon/Wed evening). This year the event is chaired by our new neighbor, Vicki Clinton – thanks Vicki!
The Pumpkins are coming!
October 5th, 2009This year, you can pick up your pumpkin (big carving ones or yummy pie ones), and corn stalks from the front yard of Vicki Clinton’s house (3218 Winterberry) this Saturday or Sunday (10th/11th), or next Monday or Wednesday Evening (12th/14th). Your donation of $3 per pie pumpkin, $5 per big pumpkin and $3 per corn stalk is much appreciated. Donations offset the cost of the Octoberfest event (25th Oct, 2-5pm).

Whatever, the STOP sign is once again a YIELD sign at the intersection of Winterberry & Honeysuckle! Wherever you are in Westacres and further afield, please obey all road signs & drive safely
