September Trunk Sale
July 1st, 2010 No comments »The WWC will be holding a fall car trunk sale. If you have stuff left over from your yard sales, give either Lori Hunt 363-1229, or Kerry Kelly 363-1843 a call, and they will come and collect it from you.
If you’ve got stuff to sell and don’t want to sit in your garage for 2 days, save your stuff and sell it at our fabulous new trunk sale this fall!!! More details up soon…
4th July parade
July 1st, 2010 No comments »Parade registration will be at the front island on Westacres Dr. 9.30-9.45am on Sunday July 4th.
Calling kids of all ages… don’t forget to decorate your bikes, wagons, skateboards, clothes and even your dogs and participate in our PATRIOTIC PARADE! There will be prizes for best decorated and most patriotic participants.
Also needed: convertible cars and drivers to escort our newest and most senior neighbors, and anyone who wants to show off their shiny classic cars

Father’s Day camp-out this weekend
June 15th, 2010 No comments »The annual father’s day camp out will be this Friday 6/18. This is a family event, so come pitch your tent anytime from Friday afternoon and enjoy hotdogs around 6pm.
The ‘any and all ages’ baseball game will start at 7pm, followed by smores on the beach, then lights out at 11pm.
Pancake breakfast from 8am, everyone welcome even if you’re not a camper. Water provided, but please bring your own cup, bottle etc.

Move ‘em or lose ‘em!

Boat mooring rules exist to benefit the whole community, and will be enforced, so don’t risk a fine or the loss of your boat.
Lifeguards start Sat 29 May
May 22nd, 2010 No comments »It must be summer! Lifeguards will be keeping you safe on Westacres beach starting on 29th May. This year’s beach chairman is Matt Saltzgaber, his lead lifeguard is Sheldon Eustice, and other lifeguards this season are Dave Auger, Jane Eustice, Allison Onopa, Jordan Onopa, and Mailen Staulter.
Westacres Garden Tour – Sunday 25 July 1-5pm
May 22nd, 2010 No comments »Enjoy an afternoon touring the beautiful gardens of Westacres. We will share the rich history of Westacres original intent as subsistence homesteads with their vegetable gardens to the evolution of perennial and annual gardens.
